Basel possesses a continues collection of municipal annual accounts from 1362 to 1610. The web-based edition »Jahrrechnungen der Stadt Basel 1535 bis 1610 — digital« is now also making the last part of this unique 250 year old series accessible for research and the public. This compiled forward-looking digital edition is the result of a two-year collaboration between a group of three Master students and Prof. Dr. Georg Vogeler from the Center of Information Modelling, University of Graz, and in cooperation with the public record office Basel-City, under the direction of Prof. Dr. Susanna Burghartz from the Department of History, University of Basel.
